The Hunt
Wiley Creek hunts are enjoyable for sportsmen of all types. Whether you are a first time waterfowl hunter, or an avid outdoorsman honing your shot before your next big trip, Wiley Creek Duck Preserve will provide you with a great experience.
Choose from two hunting package options:

Drive-In Package
Hunts are on Wednesday and Saturday mornings
World-class duck hunting experience without leaving Metro Atlanta
Arrival times will be sent to hunters 3-5 days before the hunt.
Arrive at Wiley Creek in the morning:
Coffee & pastries pre-hunt
Guides will drop you off within 20 yards of your blind. As the sun rises, the birds will start to fly.
All Blinds are dry blinds and hold up to 5 people each.
1 box of steel shells provided with the hunt
Each blind has a guide and dog provided by Wiley Creek. (Please let us know if you are bringing your own dog.)
4 bird limit ($75 per bird over the limit, up to 2 additional allowed)
After the Hunt
Full hot country breakfast following the hunt
Take photos with your group and your birds
Take home frozen breasted birds from the previous hunt in exchange for the ones from your hunt, or take your birds instead!
Hunts typically conclude by 10:30 AM

Overnight Package
Overnights are always the night before a hunt. (Tuesdays/Fridays)
Evening at Wiley Creek:
Enjoy a great evening in the Wiley Creek lodge, filled with activities or time for rest before the morning hunt
Outdoor Fireplace
Game Room with TV/Seating Area
Poker Table, Pool Table, Foosball, Shuffleboard, and Darts
Arrival after 3 PM
Skeet Shooting can be added on that afternoon for $50 pp.
Appetizers, a full steak dinner the evening before the hunt

OPTIONAL ADD-ON:
Skeet Shooting: $50 per round (ask us for more details!) Includes the following:
Transportation to/from skeet range located at the back of the property
Ammunition (Target Loads) to use during your round (up to 25 Shells)
What you need to know:
Duck Stamp/Preserve License
Each hunter must obtain their own GA Hunting License or a Preserve License.

Gun & Ammunition
Ammunition (Winchester Steel #2 steel Shot 3" Shells) is included in your hunting package. Shotguns are available to rent for $50 per hunt.
Note: You can NOT bring your own ammunition
Gun Safety
We will go over the basics of gun safety with you before the hunt. Please leave all guns in your car when you arrive at Wiley Creek, and we will pick them up prior to going to the blinds. All guns must remain unloaded with the safety on until you are in your blind.
Reserving your hunt
We require a $150 deposit per hunter to book your hunt.
Waivers
Each hunter is required to sign a waiver for hunting. This will be emailed out with your pre-hunt reminder.
Our Blinds
Wiley Creek maintains blinds that are on the banks of our lakes and ponds or flooded fields of corn, beans, and millet. All of our blinds are dry blinds.
We do have 2 handicap accessible blinds. Please contact us to ensure that they will accommodate your needs.
What to wear
Please wear appropriate camouflage, no orange. Make sure to wear temperature-appropriate clothing.
If you don’t have camouflage, neutral colors are acceptable.
