The Lakes & Land

Located on 380 acres of rolling hills in the foothills of the North Georgia Mountains, Wiley Creek Duck Preserve is a beautiful place to visit and an even better place to hunt Mallards.

  • A black dog wearing a camouflage vest sits on the ground by a lake, overlooking the water with ducks. The scene is surrounded by trees showing fall foliage with orange, yellow, and red leaves.

    Ponds

In Northern Cherokee County, Wiley Creek is easily accessible from I-575 in Canton, GA, or I-75 in Cartersville, GA. On the property, there are two main lakes and nine ponds. Each lake has several blinds, while the ponds are limited to one or two spots. The smaller ponds are flooded corn, bean, and millet fields.

  • A group of cattle grazing on a grassy field, including a Highland cow, a black Angus cow, and a beef cow in the background, with a hillside, trees, and a wooden fence in the distance.

    Farm

Wiley Creek is located inside Lewallen Farms, a working Black Angus Cattle Ranch. In addition to several thousand Mallards, the ranch has a variety of livestock, including 80 head of cattle and 80 calves, 10 Scottish Highlands, 4 longhorns, 30 goats, 8 horses, 4 miniature donkeys, 25 chickens (and farm-fresh eggs), Border Collies, and Labradors.
